Welcome to our dedicated employability hub, based in the Hampton Court shopping parade in Westwood.
We offer visitors the following services, free of charge:
Services are open to everyone, not just CKH residents.
Open 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 4pm Monday to Thursday.

Learn new skills and get qualifications to help you into work. Course available:

Functional Skills support for Maths & English
Having a good standard or maths and English can help you in many ways. It will improve your chances of succeeding at work or in training, as well as giving your confidence a boost. We are offering free access to the BKSB portal so that you can learn, improve and gain al nationally recognised qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths.

Careers Club
Our Careers Clubs can help you to learn the skills you need to get into work, whether you are looking to get your first job, move to a new role, return to work after a long time or get back into work after a redundancy, we can give you tailored support to get the job you want. We can help with CV writing, applications and interview skills as well as finding opportunities to begin with.

Friendship and Games Club
Come along and join our friendly club for great conversation, games and friendship. Get out of the house to meet new people!
There will be free tea and coffee, plus loads of board games. Or just enjoy a chat in great surroundings.
The club is run by CKH volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, pop along to the club and let us know.

Men's fire, wood, food and general tinkering around club
A new weekly social club for men to cook food on an open fire, chat and get involved with carpentry and woodworking projects around the garden.

Community Library
Pop in and pick up a book to take home to read or sit in the hub and read it with company.
Once you've read it, bring it back to share with someone else and borrow another one. We have books for all ages.
