Zain’s story

Zain* had suffered a stroke which meant he needed to move into a different home when he left hospital. Zain had missed rent and council tax payments and was in other debt. Our Tenancy Sustainment team helped Zain move home and our Money Adviser helped to set up his bills for his new address. We were able to signpost him to specialist support for former members of the armed forces and dealing with debt, as well as help him apply for benefits to support with his new disability.
