Get creative with t-shirt making workshop
If you’re aged between 12 and 18, come along and try your hand at fashion design! Create your own t-shirt at the free workshop taking place at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday 19 March. Drop in between 2pm and 4pm to create your own unique design and learn how to transfer it onto a t-shirt to take home. Everyone had great fun at our last session, so if you're interested in creating your own logo make sure to find out more about the t-shirt making workshop.
CKH residents also have the chance to win free tickets to attend the exhibition. All you have to do is share your contact details to enter our monthly prize draw. There are 10 pairs of free tickets up for grabs every month until May 2022.
About the partnership
Inspired by the street art currently on display at the exhibition we are sponsoring at Peterborough Museum and Gallery, we're inviting local people to join free creative workshops over the coming months.
We are the community partner in the Urban exhibition. The partnership will result in a series of free workshops hosted by different local artists. The artists will share skills and inspiration at sessions delivered online and in person at locations around the city over the coming months. After a challenging period of lockdowns and isolation, it is hoped the art will help people connect, learn more about what Peterborough has to offer, and enjoy the benefits that creativity has been proven to have on good mental health.
The Urban exhibition is open at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery until 29 May. Find out more and book tickets at cityculturepeterborough.org.uk.
