We've joined partnership to stop the scammers
We are delighted to announce we have joined the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Against Scams Partnership (CAPASP) as a supporter.
CAPASP is a county-wide partnership of public, private and voluntary sector organisations who work together to prevent and spread awareness of scams.
By collaborating with CAPASP, we will have access to information and resources which will help educate members of our communities about types of scams and how to protect themselves.
We are also supporting Scam Awareness Fortnight, which is coordinated by Citizens Advice, from 15 to 28 June.
Our CEO, Claire Higgins, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting CAPASP. At CKH the welfare of our customers is our number one priority, and we know that being a victim of scams can have huge impacts on mental health and financial wellbeing. We are committed to getting the message out about scams and to educate people on the risks, what they can do to protect themselves and stopping these vile scammers succeeding in their work.”
Councillor Irene Walsh, Peterborough City Council’s cabinet member for communities, said: “It’s greatly encouraging for CAPASP to have gained the support of established organisations such as Cross Keys Homes. We’re optimistic that partnerships such as this will prove to be a positive asset in our efforts to prevent scams across the wider community.”
