Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
Following the lifting of covid restrictions today (19 July) we want to assure you that we are still here to help and will continue to support you in any way that we can – whether that be financial worries, access to services, or your own mental health and wellbeing. Whatever the concern, please get in contact with us.
Your safety continues to be of utmost importance to us so whilst the wearing of face coverings will become guidance not law, we will continue to assess each situation and wear face coverings where and when appropriate. We will also respect our residents and customers individual preferences, so if you prefer for us to wear a face covering when visiting you, please let us know. We are also asking colleagues to manage their own preference for social distancing and wearing a mask, so please be respectful and understand if they choose to continue to abide by this guidance.
It is important that you remember your own safety and that of others, as whilst restrictions are being lifted, cases of the delta variant continue to rise. If we are due to visit you and you or a member of your family have been told to self-isolate or are displaying symptoms, please make sure you get in contact with us as soon as possible to let us know. We will be able to rearrange your appointment to another time when it is safe to visit.
All frontline services have now reverted back to working as they did pre-covid apart from our office-based colleagues who will continue to work from home. Our head office will remain closed to the public.
As the country comes out of lockdown, it’s likely to take some time for everything to return to normal. We’re currently experiencing problems with the supply of some materials we need to complete repairs and defects, there is also a shortage of the professionals we need to complete some works. As a result, some work may take a little longer than normal. We know that can be frustrating so we’ll do all we can to keep you up to date if your work is impacted by delays. We’re working very closely with our contractors and suppliers to make sure work is completed as quickly as possible so thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Our community care and extra care services will continue to follow guidance as issued by the Department of Health and you will be able to keep up to date with all our latest news and events on our website and Facebook page .
Thank you for your understanding and patience over the last 16-months. It has been a long journey to get here and we understand that some of you may still very anxious about reaching step 4 of the government’s roadmap to recovery. Please remember that you can find the latest government advice on staying safe, along with the symptoms to look out for and advice on what to do if you have symptoms, on the government’s website and you can find information about when to self-isolate and what to do on the NHS website .
