All of our support is free of charge and you do not need to be a CKH resident to take part.
Free support with English and Maths
Having a good standard or maths and English can help you in many ways. It will improve your chances of succeeding at work or in training, as well as giving your confidence a boost. We are offering free access to the BKSB portal so that you can learn, improve and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths.
Sessions run every Wednesday, 10am to 12pm at our Westwood Hub

Understanding Mental Health First Aid
Jobsmart will be delivering the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace. This qualification will give learners the skills to support individuals with mental health problems through:
- Exploring mental health
- Understanding how to support individuals with mental ill health
- Understanding a mentally healthy environment.
This course will run on 24, 25, 30 April and 2 May 2024 from 9:30am to 2:30pm at our Westwood Hub.

Get into gardening
Join our two day introduction to gardening course. You'll develop your skills and knowledge in horticulture and gardening and get a certificate at the end of the course.
The course will run on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 April at the WestRaven Community Garden, Hartwell Way, Peterborough PE3 7LX
